I am not good in English. I always struggle whenever I try to communicate using the language, especially to our expat bosses. But for this blog entry, I will try my best to exclusively use Uncle Sam's vernacular. Because I am solely dedicating this to someone, a mere acquaintance, who is beginning to gain my admiration.
You see, this woman has a very good command of English. I am amaze at how she weaves words to create a touching, powerful masterpiece. I admire not just her ability to write but more so the content of her writings. I feel envious that she can clearly convey her message, so powerful and potent that you can do nothing but be moved and inspired.
I do not have access to her inner circle, but whenever I get the chance to read her posts, her thoughts and opinions vividly illustrated in every words, it seems that I am able to see her soul. She was such a woman who practically knows what she wants and what she deserves, and does not settle for anything less.
Her convictions about the world, the good and the bad, are being reflected in her everyday dealings. She works hard, because like me, she is a mom, but she does not allow a rotten system get to her. Her ideals were kept intact, despite the predominance of a corrupted structure in every organization she gets herself into.
Much as I want to join her in her quest to establish a clean, corrupt free system, for the benefit of our children, there are situations that hinders me from doing so. I have very limited potential, unlike her where possibilities are endless. We belong in an opposite job market, I though deem dynamic, in a mostly inclusive industry, she, on the other hand in a vast, fast growing industry.
I hope that her tribe increases, because the world needs the likes of her. I pray that no matter how strong the temptation is, she will remain enduring and steadfast in her beliefs, her values intact. I promise to join her eventually, and together, we will try to change the world, in our own little ways.
